Policies and Lesson Details
*New Students* - Please make a request online to book your free 15min Discovery Chat! (Phone call or Zoom)
After your 15min Discovery Chat, we may proceed to booking an Initial Online Lesson, or In-person Lesson. Thereafter, we may proceed to scheduling a regular lesson time for you. I currently primarily use FarPlay or Zoom for online lessons.
I offer 45min or 60min lessons on an ongoing, weekly basis, depending on the singer's needs and age. Typically 30 minute lessons are only offered for young children.
Short-term coaching packages are also available, via special arrangement.

Policies:
I aim to keep all studio policies clear and upfront so we can spend our time singing! If you have any questions about the following points, please let me know.
- Pre-payment for all lessons is expected via e-transfer or credit card (via Stripe). You will be sent an invoice by the first day of the month. Payment is due within 5 days of the invoice.
- The student is expected to provide 48 hrs notice via (text or phone call) if unable to attend a regularly scheduled lesson.
- If a student misses a recurring lesson time there is no refund offered for the lesson fee (excepting sudden/severe illness or accidents). If a student provides 48hrs notice, we may be able to reschedule your lesson, to a maximum of one per term (Term I Sept - Dec; Term II Jan-June; Summer Term June-July). There is no guarantee of being offered a rescheduled lesson as it depends on other openings in the schedule.
- If you have booked a single coaching session, or a series of 2-3 single lessons, payment is due upon booking the classes, and no refunds are provided if you must cancel.
- If I unexpectedly have to miss a lesson, you will be fully refunded or provided with an additional lesson, or added time for your next lesson.
- If you wish to pause, change, or discontinue your regularly scheduled lessons, I expect a minimum of 14 calendar days notice.
- If the student is ill for the lesson time, unless the student is unable to make any sound or is in bed with the ailment, the student is expected to attend the lesson and the main focus of the lesson will be on vocal health and/or learning music theory for that session. If it is an in-person lesson you have booked but you are ill, we will switch to an online format for that lesson.
